It is. I saw it.
The trip to California was nixed thanks to my grandmother's awesome ability to be batshit insane and make up elaborate stories.
But! I did manage to make it to Arizona. That was pretty cool.
I got back yesterday. Classes start tomorrow.
It's a full semester for me so I am not positive as to how much free time I will have. We shall see. I'll at least try to attend to my modly duties or something.
ANYWAY.
Penis.

Yeah. I'm pretty sure the southern side of the USA breeds discontent and psychosis. Must be something in their water.
BUT YOU GOTTA LOVE FAMILY RIGHT? It's a rule or something, I heard.
I really wanted to see the Redwood Forest but that can wait till next year. The Grand Canyon was a pretty cool substitute. Apparently we went there during monsoon season and we were exceptionally lucky that the day we toured the canyon was the best they had in weeks.
Apparently at least two people a year fall to their deaths on 'accident'.
Our tour guide was kind enough to give us all the death statistics.

Why is accident inside quotes? LOL. Implying that the accidents are not so accidental?
And uhm. I would pretty much hate being a tour guide there if I had to deal with that.

Well, that's the way he said it. He made it sound like the accidents MAY not have been accidents.
Yeah he said he did hiking guide things there as well. Which involves hiking through the canyon with people that may not really be prepared for it. So I imagine that would suck balls.

I WENT THERE. I can vouch that it is indeed quite large. I didn't let my family get close to the edge, loool.
