Description:
Personality: Linwe' is timid, cautious, untrusting and yet curious. She is kind and gentle in her comfort zone or once someone has won her trust. She has a soft spot for nature and animals. Linwe' has not experienced much human spoken language in her mosre recent years so is often unfamiliar with slang and speaks quite politely or 'properly'.
Although her first reaction is to survive and protect herself, her core reaction is always wanting to help others.

Physical description: Linwe' is scraggley and scrawny to put it lightly. Her golden brown hair is long (reaching her hips), full of wringlets but always tangled. Her eyes are a vibrant blue and her skin his pale and often dirty. The soles of her feet are black as she does not wear shoes.
The rags she wears resemble clothes but cover her well enough. She always has a self crafted knife or spear on her person for protection.
Her magical abilities are Elemental of the Earth. Triggered by sudden immersion of her new home she assumed she was going crazy when she could 'feel' trees and animals. The forest become something she could read after years of living their, understanding the body language and calls of animals. This is enhanced by her magic however and when she focuses hard enough she can pinpoint the location of a landmark or animal (or humanoid) within a days walk.
A more uncontrollable and less useful part of her magic that flares is acselerating plant growth. Not to the degree of turning a sapling into a giant ancient tree but encouraging plants to heal and flourish.
History:
She was born into a world of privilege and brought up to believe her Mother's word was divine. Told her Father died in a heroic battle she was raised by her Mother and the slaves that came and went from the household throughout time.
When she was old enough to start questioning stories that didn't add up but young enough to not be able to do anything about the consequences, she learnt that her Mother was actually quite a sadistic woman with mental illness. The reason the servents/"slaves" came and went so steadily was due to her Mother's hobbies of treating them inhumanly. Those that recognised her madness escaped, those that didn't were improsoned and tortured for amusement.
One slave had been her Father.
It only took a few weeks of seeing her Mother for what she was, witnessing and experiencing tortures herself as she was deemed no more worthy than a "slave" now that she rebelled against Tiana. A few weeks was all it took to fill her with desperation. She freed as many slaves as she could and set fire to the house. She does not know if her Mother or any slaves perished and did not look back. Traumatised and with no where to go, she stayed in the forest, learning to live off the land.
It was this violent change in life style that awoke the magic in her blood.
Now a grown woman, Linwe' travels the forests of Sideris but always returning to the mountains as her home base. She protects the forest and animals when they are in trouble and has lost touch with humanity. Although she knows truth in this world she is lonely.
