Grey mid-morning beams of light reflected through the dully painted stained glass windows of one of the castle's hall ways like a chapel. Raindrops peeled down outside, drizzling gray dreariness as far the eye could see. Pale hands rested upon the glass eye blue eye tiredly looked out to the gardens. "The flowers, will drown." A gentle voice muttered, the girl's pale hand rose to brush back blond hard and fix the headband that lay atop her head. Slender fingers moved their way to the dress's skirt picking it up to walk slowly away. There wasn't much to do when the wet seasons poured their hardest.
Just sit and wait.
Wait for the rains to pause for a moment, to run outside and check out the courtyard. It was strange as much rain as Silvereye got, it was never too badly flooded. All of the water ending up in the sea some how. Heels clacked on hard floor, slender fingers brushing against the stony side of the walls. What was one to do? How could Cecilia ever entertain herself. A sigh escaped the girls lips, as she smoothly walked down the stairs.
To the library.
Her mother would kill her for wasting a day like this just looking out the window. At least retain some sort of knowledge from a book or something? Arms brushed against bookshelves. What to pick? What to read? The girl sucked in air as she stared up at the vast tower of knowledge and paper. That one. A pale clammy hand grabbed hold of a boring brown book cover. Settling her self at a table near a window. Just open the book and read. No need to even look at the title, but the poor girl couldn't. Eyes closed for a moment, her mind too restless to read. She couldn't absorb the pages.
Her mind, it wanted to travel.
Just sit and wait.
