Description:
Personality: Syldranis has what could be described as a "mild" personality. She does not anger easily, but also is not easily amused or made happy. While she may not be easily offend-able and won't make enemies easily, she also has a hard time relating to others and becoming close. She takes a bit longer to process certain forms of sarcasm because she processes in a more logical manner.
When she loosens up around people (who as of now only includes Djinn), she becomes a bit more likely to smile or laugh.
-To be extended upon when she develops more as a character-
Physical Description: She has extreme Fel'asaris features - horns curving from her head, a long, whip-like tufted tail, and cloven hooves. Her skin is tinted red in certain areas, primarily down her spine from her neck to her tail tip, as well as along the backs of her ears. Her hair is a dark brown-black with red highlights in the light, and falls in natural light waves almost to her waist. Her skin is olive-tinted and tanned from outdoor lifestyle, and her eyes are a striking bright green.
She tends to wear a white linen shirt under a leather corset, which snaps with the front with a row of 6 gold clasps, and is hand-carved by her with various patterns. She wears multiple necklaces and arm bangles, as well as strings of gems, beads, and chain links in her hair. She wears flowing skirts in an attempt to hide her legs and tail when she goes among others, and switches to a light skirt with a slit that goes up to her left hip when alone in the wilderness, to allow for easier movement. As her horns are not hide-able, she brushes them off as decoration when in town, dressing them up with even more decoration.
Relationships:
Djinn - Her trusted companion, he goes everywhere she goes.
History:
It would be polite to say her mother simply "gets around," and far more accurate so say she sleeps with just about anyone. Endeara claims she has no idea who Syldranis' father is, but it seems an unlikely claim as no one else near their little home had horns or a tail. According to the villagers when Syldranis asked around later in life, a Fel'asaris did come through their town before, though no one seemed to recall his name. When she was old enough to leave home, Syld decided it would be "romantic" and "adventurous" to try and seek out her father. Four years later, at 20, the luster had died and she decided she should return home and just try to make a life for herself. She returned to find that her mother had passed on the year before, and the house and its contents left to her. Finding she simply didn't care for city life after being on the move through wilderness so long, she sold everything within a month and journeyed on.
Three months, she came upon a ransacked rich man's home, with the remains of a menagerie in the back gardens. She came across a group of penniless travelers feasting on the raw meat of the mutilated carcass of a rhinoceros, and the beast's young calf giving small, plaintive cries as it nudged at its mother's lifeless head. Just as one of the men was about to stab the creature to quiet it, Syldranis stepped in, fending the man off and leading the rhinoceros away with gentle nudges. She later learned, after she had calmed it down and fed it, that the rhinoceros was of the Folk, as his mother had been, and he told her his mother had named him Djinn. The two stayed together as companions after that, Syldranis helping Djinn grow, providing him protection, food, and companionship, with Djinn quickly returning the favor as he grew larger and stronger.
Syldranis and Djinn eventually settled in to a lifestyle of hunting the woods for the creatures that lived in them, taking their hides and meat to the people that lived in cities and towns nearby in exchange for money and goods they could not make themselves.
