Curse Question

Actually, I have two. But it depends on the answer to the first one XD

Is it possible to set some sort of 'death' curse on a fairy, or more specifically, half fairy? I want to make a character a half fairy, but thought of how she aged.
What I mean is, is it possible to curse her so she ages like a normal human and dies like one? Instead of living as long as her kind usually does, she'll live to just like.. 80 or whatever her natural death would be.

If she has a child with a fairy, what would the lifespan of the child be like?

The curse part is okay.

The child part depends on what the child is:

If it's a half fairy then it'll have a half fairy life span

If it's less than half fairy it'll have human age

Hoooow does one decide?

If the parents are half fairy x fairy, would the child be counted as fairy or would that human half gene be dominant?

Half fairy + fairy would result in a child that expresses more of her fairy side, I believe. So she'd have a fairy age span.
