The laws of Sideris?

In the description of Sideris and it's people and it suggests that the laws and justice system there is very strict. Is there anywhere that has an outline of the laws?

I'm wondering because my character's father is in prison for theft. So how long would his sentence be?

Sideris is pretty SRS BIZNESS so I'd say anywhere from 40 years to life.

Think of every insanely strict country you can. Such as China, North Korea.
