Description:
Rahn is a bit of a tough old bird. He worked hard most of his life, and while he's gotten a bit of pudge as he's getting on in years, he's still pretty well built. It doesn't show much though, as he wears too much for people to tell. It's usually just simple cloth of dark tans and browns. It's covered most of the time with a hooded cloak. Underneath the layers of clothing, he hides a variety of weapons. A pair of daggers at his boots, a sheathed sword on his belt, along with a short range pistol, which only has a few bullets. He hardly uses the gun, as it's easier to kill or hurt someone with a sword than it is to use a gun and have to pay for more bullets later on. The weapon is used more for a quick defense getaway than anything else.
When he isn't hunkered down in old garments, his dark caramel skin shows years of old scars primarily on his chest and arms. Most of which just came from his chosen profession.
His eyes are a dark chocolate brown, and his hair is black with some grey stripes. It's long, coming down to his waist. He ties it back to keep it out of the way, but strands still fall in front. When he's in the mood, he'll have a short beard. He prefers to keep it shaved though, since it doesnt itch as much when he has a cloth over his face.
Relationships:
His wife and child was his whole life. After they died, Rahn hasn't seen any reason to really get to know other people. The only creature he's attached to is his camel, Malik. Not that it shows too much. They bicker constantly.
Personality:
It isn't that Rahn is a mean individual, he just doesn't see any need to show happiness all the time. He gets particularly grumpy when people start asking about him though. He doesn't like talking about anything that might remind him of his deceased wife or daughter.
History:
What happened to his wife and daughter is a mystery. Only Malik knows bits and pieces, but he won't tell anyone else because of his loyalty to his friend. Rahn bought him from a band of gypsies when he was still a calf, seeing more uses in the odd yet annoying individual than eating for a quick meal. Rahn always jokes with him about eating the camel himself if he doesn't shut up, but the friendship is the only reason Rahn has managed to stay sane this long.
One of the advantages of owning a camel though is the ability to travel long distances. They go off to many different areas together. As long as they don't wander back to Carden that is. Rahn never wants to go back to his old home.
As for money, whenever Rahn finds the opportunity he'll do what he can to earn some extra cash for food and clothing. Again, the history is a blank but it seems the man has some knowledge in weaponry and tactics, suggesting he may once have been a soldier of some sort.
