To those that have taken on the responsibility of a canon character, please read the following:
It has come to our attention that there are a number of adopted canons that have yet to be posted icly. There have been posts around the site regarding plots and what not concerning said characters, but they have remained inactive for weeks. While plotting oocly is fine, never actually posting is rather counter intuitive and gives the forum the illusion of inactivity.
That said, if you derive enjoyment solely out of plotting and not actually role playing, adopting a canon character was not a good idea. Make your own characters and allow them to go inactive, but do not do so with Half Moon’s canons. It’s bad manners, really.
To everyone who has adopted a canon – you have one week’s time to make an in character post or you will see the canon revoked from your ownership.
Extreme activity is not expected. You are not expected to post every day. But you are expected to post. Also, if you are the type of role player who only posts once every week or every few weeks, please reassess whether or not you should actually have a canon (if you do.)
If there are mitigating circumstances barring you from posting with a canon, please inform the mods and admin.
Laziness is not an excuse, by the way.
