((I tried to give you a bit to work with Strongjaw. If you need more, just let me know and I can edit it. :3))
Three copper coins made a slight clinking sound as Able tossed them in his hand while he walked. He wasn’t the type who gambled for a living, but tonight he had gambled out of boredom. Needless to say, luck had been on the engineer’s side tonight. With the three copper coins in his hand, and the golden ones in his pocket… yes, he was feeling awful good at the moment. A small smile appeared on his features and he let out a low chuckle. “Heheh, thank the Maker. I’m not going home broke tonight.” He tossed the coins up one more time before sliding them into his pocket, rejoining them with their golden look alikes.
Now with his coins in his pocket, Able took a quick look at the sky. It was dark… very dark. With that in mind he assumed it was around ten thirty, or eleven- give or take an hour. That meant he didn’t have to go home just yet. His chocolate tipped cougar tail flicked back and forth as his mind filled with curiosity. His favorite bar may be open and he could go there for an hour before making his way home. Ah what to do, what to do.
His thoughts were interrupted by a sharp bark though. “Hmmm?” Able turned, only to see a rather intimidating dog growling at him. It charged at Able’s legs and managed to knock him down- only to procede with trying to lick Able’s face and wagging its tail a mile a minute. “Ack! Tripod! GetoffameyouBASTARD! GET. OFF. SIT.” On that final world, the three legged bully sat down with his tail still going and his tongue lolling out. After that Able stood up and dusted himself off along with wiping off whatever slobber the dog had managed to get on his face. Once he was cleaned off, he took a look at his dog and took notice of the broken leash. Not again.
He sighed. “Come on Trip, let’s take yah home.” Obviously he was not going to a bar tonight and risk letting the dog stay loose and wreak havoc. That just wouldn’t go over well in the slightest. With his earlier, happy expression now replaced by annoyance he began walking in the direction of his house. Not noticing that in his dog's attack, his hat had fallen off.
