So, Antoinette is a prostitute. I have a few questions about that.

1) Is prostitution an illegal occupation or is it monitored by the government?

2) Where is the best place for a prostitute to live? I assume this also depends on the legal/illegal thing.

3) If I wanted to manage a brothel, how would I go about doing something like that?


Also one other random question: is it ok that she is -not- a witch but still has a talking cat? I tried to cover it as best I could in her profile, but I didn't know if it would be her pet or her familiar because she is just a human.

As long as the cat can't do any magic, it's fine. As for the prostitution, yeah it's an illegal profession, but so is thievery and pirating. She'd have to run it in 'secret', probably in either a port city (which are filled with horny sailors, so yeah) or a slum city like Carden or Howe.

Ok cool, then I have one final question... thing.


On GT there is the one thread that tells about establishments you can go to in certain cities. Will there be something like that here? I'm planning on making a compound owned by a rich guy. On the outside, the compound is a mansion, hotel, pub, barn, etc. And a place called the Gentleman's Club, which on the outside would be something like a cigar lounge but would actually be the brothel.

So now that you have all that info that is kind of pointless, where would be a place to post information about said compound?

yeah I guess, though it seems a little redundant as people will just make up their own places during rp. you're better off just describing it in an rp or something.
