I'm debating about whether or not to bring Rosalind, my fox character, here as one of The Folk. If I were to do so, where should I take her/what should I do with her? Do you think I would be limited by the fact that she's an animal?
Or would it be better for me to just make a human or something from scratch?

The Folk have the capacity of integrating into humanoid society pretty well. In this regard, it shouldn't limit you too much should you choose to make an animal character. The Folk can serve as spies, librarians, inventors, anything a human can do, really.

A member of the Folk is not hindered by the fact they have claws and fur! look at Magidemus! he has his own company and shop!
Think only that as a fox how could she make a living among or away from humans and think about what her goal in life would be.
