A shaft of light passed through a small hole in a curtain, hitting the exact spot that Vivian's closed eyes happened to be occupying. She groaned softly, rolling over and hoping she'd be able to get back to sleep. However, in doing so, she felt Sol stir next to her. Vivian let out an annoyed sigh. Now that her pine marten familiar was awake, there'd be no sleeping for her.
The folk pine marten stretched like a cat and climbed onto Vivian's shoulders, nuzzling her ear affectionatly. She smirked slightly. "Yeah, yeah. Good morning." she muttered, still blinking sleep from her hazel eyes. Stifling a yawn, she swung her legs out of the bed and walked to her wardrobe with Sol still riding on her shoulders.
Pulling out her clothes for the day, a simple green corset, black shirt and green skirt, she glared slightly at Sol, who'd moved from her shoulders to a dresser. Her familiar flashed her a pointy toothed grin. "Waiting for something?" he purred. She sighed, stroking him once and walking into the changing room that ajoined her bedroom. After she was finished, she walked back out again, and let Sol back onto her shoulders.
Vivian walked out into the main castle, reaching up to stroke Sol again. Pausing at a window, she sat on the sil, gazing out at Caedere. Yet again, it was raining, nothing new there. The weather never helped the austere town look any more cheerful.
